Our Farm

Our goal here at Ephphatha (Be Opened) Farm is to provide rewarding, enriching, experiences as we strive to help all individuals access agricultural activities at our farm. Our special focus is to provide an accessible, affirming environment for everyone with physical and/or emotional challenges. Or for anyone who would love to stop by and access the healing power of the earth…everyone is welcome.

We are situated on a 100 acre farm in Winslow, Maine. Our Farm is a mixture of fields and pasture. Our soil is clay…but very fertile as well. We have chickens and an accessible garden and our two miniature goats are very fun (see our page about our animals). We offer therapeutic horsemanship and our instructor is a member of the Path International Organization. (Please check the PATH website for more information).

We offer a variety of agricultural activities: planting seeds, painting birdhouses (for our feathered friends). Maintaining flower gardens for our area pollinators, and we also have vegetable gardens…the surplus this year will go to the area foodbank. Through our animals, therapeutic horses, gardens and our sustainable ecological practices we hope to provide a healing and renewing environment for all.

Ephphatha is a place where healing is fostered through nature…and we watch it happen, naturally!

Several brown chickens stand on dirt inside a fenced outdoor enclosure next to a wooden coop with an open hatch.
A gray and white cat walks on a porch next to three pumpkins, two small gourds, and a green cabbage, with a red door and white siding in the background.
A German Shepherd is lying on the ground in a shaded forest clearing with green trees and sunlight in the background.
