COVID 19 ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Friends,
During these uncertain times we must strive to protect and support each other, especially the most vulnerable among us. Many of our community members who visit Ephphatha Farm are elderly and/or physically challenged. These physical limitations often prevent them from being able to sit up, move and breathe deeply. The COVID 19 virus compromises the respiratory system and often prevents affected individuals from breathing normally. Because the virus is so highly infectious as well, and in keeping with the Guidelines of the CDC, we at Ephphatha Farm feel we have to postpone temporarily, activities here at the Farm. This is in an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Please read our Annual Letter or make a donation to help us continue our work.
We look forward to the time when we can welcome everyone back to the Farm to participate and enjoy together our gardening, baking, harvesting activities…and all our animals as well.
Please be assured that we will continue to be careful stewards of the Farm: nurturing the earth, providing flowers and plantings for the pollinators, maintaining the landscape, growing and sharing our produce from the garden, caring for our chickens, goats, and horses. We will continue to sell our eggs and hope to have vegetables available starting midsummer…which we may deliver or have available by phone order for pick up at the Farm. (We will be posting availability on our website.)
I will continue to update everyone about happenings at the Farm via a newsletter on our Website…if you would like to comment or say hello please email us at ephphathacommunity@gmail.com.
Until we can come together again…Please know we are grateful for all of you, and we hold you, each and everyone in our hearts and thoughts…
Wishing you every Blessing,
SHALOM,
Robin for Ephphatha Farm
